An Australian Dromaeosaur
Dromaeosaur dinosaurs likely roamed the Australian continent in the Early Cretaceous, 110 million years ago, alongside other feathered dinosaurs such as the long-tailed herbivore Leaellynasaura and oviraptorids, both shown in the background. The dromaeosaur wears the coloration of a black-breasted buzzard. Painted for the introductory chapter of a book on Australian raptor rehabilitation.
